I’ll take divorce for a few billion
Nancy is not a fan of the Kim/Kanye divorce headlines, but the hunger for news about something other than a virus or a vaccine leaves room for everything at this point.
The latest news before we send out this week’s show notes:
PageSix: Kim Kardashian isn’t ready to date yet amid Kanye divorce
Dan doesn’t think the Kardashian-West divorce is worth the energy, but they didn’t get those billions of dollars from being boring, it seems.
On the other hand, the French-Gates divorce is potentially more interesting, not because of the gossip and the drama between partners in a marriage, but the global implications of their foundation and what has gone on behind the scenes. Is Bill not such a great guy? Dan says probably not (allegedly). But maybe, just maybe, all of this sunlight is heating up some public relations sanity over at the B&M Gates Foundation:
Gates Foundation reverses course on COVID-19 vaccine patents
We’re not quite done yet
Yes, mask and mitigation measure mandates are falling by the wayside, but do stay safe out there. As always, a quick rundown published weekly provides useful information from a real expert (Dr. Daniel Griffin) that isn’t loaded down with politics and blather.
Customer Service?
Do you have any horror stories, trying to get someone to support a product or service that you depend on?
Everything from medical health and wellness to a password manager on your phone probably has at least one “support” phone number or email address associated with it. How does that work out for you?
You should let us know… how about a drop-in episode where you tell your tales of catastrophe?
Thanks!

Of course, if you’d like to express your support in the form of Coffee, Nancy is stepping up her brewing game (the move from grind to bean was traumatic, thanks to some news about what falls into the commercial bean grinders to make pre-ground coffee…) and is pondering replacing the so-so blade grinder with a nice burr grinder (Dan suggests the Baratza Encore).
Dan has a grinder and a bunch of beans and a bunch of coffee-making devices, if you want to suggest your favorite coffee bean and brewing style, he will almost certainly give it a try…
Until next week!
(By the way, did you know we also publish a weekend newsletter before the next episode… guests, interesting topic ideas, a link to a drop-in audio chat, or whatever else comes up before we hit Record. Visit the newsletter at Revue and if you like you can subscribe to that separately:
